Start with your concern

What is your home telling you?

These signs can have more than one cause. Testing helps identify the work your system needs.

01

Dust returns quickly

Furniture and surfaces look dusty soon after cleaning, or filters load faster than expected.

02

Musty or lingering odors

Odors return when the system runs or certain rooms never smell fresh.

03

Sticky indoor air

The home feels damp or clammy even when the thermostat reaches its set temperature.

04

Stuffy rooms

Closed rooms or occupied areas feel stale and may benefit from an airflow or ventilation review.

05

Particles and irritants

Pollen, pet dander, smoke or fine particles are a concern for the household.

06

New system, old discomfort

The equipment is newer, but uneven rooms, humidity, noise or air concerns remain.

What a Proven visit includes

Evidence first. Recommendation second.

The exact checks depend on the system and concern. The operating discipline stays consistent from arrival through closeout.

Documented service record
  1. 01

Listen to the symptoms, rooms and operating conditions connected to the concern.

  2. 02

Measure relevant indoor-air and comfort conditions such as particles, VOCs, carbon dioxide, temperature and relative humidity when equipment is available and appropriate.

  3. 03

Inspect the accessible filter, return-air path, supply-air conditions and visible equipment cleanliness.

  4. 04

Check whether filtration choices fit the system's available airflow rather than assuming a higher MERV rating is always better.

  5. 05

Separate source, moisture, filtration, airflow and ventilation concerns before discussing equipment.

  6. 06

Provide a readable findings summary and credit the $49 visit toward approved air or comfort improvements.

LET ME SHOW YOU

A decision you can understand

Find the improvement that fits your concern.

Some homes need a better-fitting media filter or a corrected airflow problem. Others may benefit from coil-focused UV treatment, zero-ozone purification, whole-home dehumidification, controlled fresh air, smart monitoring or a combination designed around the concern.

We do not treat every home with the same product. The recommendation should connect the reported symptom, the measurements, the HVAC system and the practical value of the improvement.

Indoor Air Quality & Comfort questions

Why is my house cool but still humid?

Temperature and humidity are different measurements. Equipment operation, equipment selection or leaky ducts can contribute to excess humidity; moisture from the building or household activities may also matter. Note the indoor relative humidity, affected rooms and when the problem occurs. EPA recommends keeping relative humidity below 60%, ideally 30–50% where possible. We evaluate the HVAC findings before recommending equipment and explain when a separate moisture or building issue needs attention. Include any humidity readings or visible moisture when requesting an air and comfort check.

Will you automatically try to sell me a purifier?

No. The purpose of the check is to identify which conditions deserve attention. A filter correction, moisture source, airflow change or maintenance item may be more appropriate than an air purifier.

Can a higher-MERV filter go in every system?

No. Filter fit, surface area and system airflow matter. Proven Comfort considers the available airflow before recommending a more restrictive media filter.

Can filtration or UV equipment remove an existing mold problem?

Air-cleaning equipment does not replace correcting the moisture source or properly addressing existing mold. We can evaluate HVAC-side humidity, filtration and equipment conditions and explain when another specialist may be needed.

Does the $49 apply toward recommended work?

Yes. The $49 Whole-Home Air & Comfort Check is credited toward indoor-air or comfort improvements that you approve from the visit.
