What you can expect

Understand the problem. Choose the work. Keep the findings.

Tell us what is happening in your home. We’ll explain what we find, discuss the price and options before additional work, and leave you with a record of the visit and the next steps.

Your record of the visit

See what you’ll take away.

A clear record of what we found, the options and price discussed with you, the work completed and how we checked the result.

  • The finding, supporting evidence and anything we couldn’t check.
  • Your options, prices and choice before work starts.
  • Work completed, before-and-after readings and the next step.

This is the blank report we use to document a visit. Your technician records the findings and options with you, then completes the work and verification sections using only checks actually performed.

Use the online request form to send us your details and concerns before the visit. We’ll contact you to confirm scope and availability; a request does not book an appointment.

From first contact to final check

A clear next step at every stage.

You should know what we are checking, what it will cost and what the visit accomplished.

01

1. Listen and confirm

We confirm your concern, service scope, starting price and appointment details before the visit.

02

2. Check and explain

We inspect and test for the service you booked, explain the findings and tell you what needs more investigation.

03

3. Agree and complete

You review the recommended work and price before approving it. We protect the work area and clean up when finished.

04

4. Verify and hand over

We check operation as the work allows, explain the result and give you the findings and next steps to keep.

You stay in control of the work.

Your booked visit has a defined scope. If we find an issue that needs additional diagnosis, parts or repair, we explain the options and price before proceeding. You can ask questions or decline additional work.

We confirm access and any areas of your home that need extra care. If the schedule or scope changes, we explain the change and agree on the next step with you.

  • A confirmed service scope and starting price.
  • Findings explained in everyday language.
  • Approval before additional billable work.
  • Care for the work area and removal of our service debris.

A useful record of what happened.

Your homeowner report connects your original concern to the work completed, readings taken and recommendations discussed. We explain any checks we could not complete and whether more work is needed.

Before we leave, we walk through the findings and relevant care instructions with you. If something still needs attention, the report records the next step. A visit does not promise that every problem is resolved.

Straight answers

The Proven Standard questions

How do photos and measurements help explain the problem found during my HVAC visit?

Your visit record should connect the original concern to the checks performed, findings, approved work and next steps. Useful photos can make a finding easier to understand alongside the technician's measurements and explanation. A picture alone does not prove the cause. If access or safety prevents a check, that limitation belongs in the report; an untested item should not be marked passed. When requesting service, tell us the problem you want explained and ask us to walk through the findings with you.

Does every visit include the same checks?

No. Checks depend on the booked service, equipment and concern. Your report identifies what we actually checked, what we found and anything that needs further investigation.

Will you do extra work without asking?

We explain additional billable work and its price and obtain your approval before proceeding.

What if the system still needs work?

We explain its condition, record unfinished items and discuss the next step. We do not mark an untested item as passed or promise a result we have not verified.
